How Green Are Our Libraries

In 2023, Libraries Week becomes Green Libraries Week!

Libraries Week is an annual showcase and celebration of the best that libraries have to offer. Each year we pick a theme and explore the innovative and surprising things that libraries are doing to support their communities.

Between the 2nd and 8th October, we are celebrating the work going on in libraries across the all our campuses at East Sussex College with a particular focus on sustainability and climate change.

If you haven’t had a chance to chance to check out our Hastings Campus, then you haven’t seen how green The Library is. During the week you will have the chance to cut some of the amazing greenery which you can take home and then plant and grow from home.

If you haven’t had a chance to see our libraries in action, then this will be the week to do this and meet our fantastic teams.
