Students were encouraged to ‘make up their own mind’, encouraged to step out with their own thoughts and encouraged to see things from a different perspective. Students were asked what’s more important; happiness or money, character or calibre and confidence or competence.

Dan Glover, ESC Hastings Student Experience Co-Ordinator said

“It was great seeing students being able to not only hear from such a fantastic speaker, but also engage and think for themselves about what they think of a variety of topics, whilst also getting them to link it back to their own course and their own career aspirations. Students left feeling enthusiastic and carried on the conversation outside of the seminar with Steve, with students praising Steve about his engagement within the seminar.”
