Alter Ego, one of the UK’s leading social change theatre and film production companies, are attending East Sussex College, to outline the dangers of County Lines to students.
What are “County Lines”?
County Lines is when drug gangs exploit young people to sell drugs in different areas, often using threats, violence, and manipulation. It’s important to stay informed and know the signs.
The theatre performance of the project ‘CountyLines’ aims to warn students of the dangers of getting involved in County Lines and also explain how they could safeguard themselves.
Actors, Jordan and Kieron, from the educational theatre company Alter Ego, will perform the true life story of Randal, a young person manipulated into the drugs industry, after being groomed by a man with the promise of easy money and a better life.
