Green Libraries Week will return and run from 7-13 October 2024, celebrating libraries with a focus on the climate and sustainability. We encourage you to begin planning your green activities for your communities.

In 2023, Libraries Week went Green, with libraries from Jersey to John O’Groats hosting more than 290 environmental and sustainability activities, from 7th-11th October 2024.

On the day of launch, the campaign made it into Twitter/X’s trending list at number 8, boosting the campaign’s reach beyond the libraries sector.
