Lunch time Sports

Starting this Tuesday and Thursday 12:15-1:15pm, we will be hosting casual sports for students to take part in. It will be on the MUGA and ran by Skiltek. Any inquiries, please email myself at kieron.pierce@escg.ac.uk

Movember + International Men’s Day

During Movember, men sign up to grow a moustache for 30 days, getting friends, family and colleagues to donate to their effort. Men and women can also get involved by committing to Move and walking or running 60km over the month, or by hosting an event – bringing together friends to change the face of men’s health in aid of male mental health and suicide prevention, and for prostate and testicular cancer.

Another themed day coming up is International mens day which is focused on Men’s Health Champions which will help shine a spotlight on both the problems of men’s health and the people delivering the solutions, with the help of four sub-themes:

Self Esteem Workshops (6 sessions)

Starting on the 7th of November to the 12th of December is self esteem workshop which the Wellbeing team will be hosting. There will be 6 in total each Thursday from 12pm to 1pm, and is open for all students.

To book in, please email Pauline Greig via Pauline.Greig@escg.ac.uk or students can self refer by talking to their Wellbeing Mentor or dropping into the Wellbeing office on the second floor.

Fresh Visions Healthy Relationships Group (3 sessions)

From Tuesday 12th of November to the 26th at 2pm - 3pm, the wellbeing team will be running a group for students looking to work on healthy relationships. Tutors can book the Wellbeing Mentors to deliver this session to groups of students by contacting Pauline Greig Pauline.Greig@escg.ac.uk

Students can self refer by talking to their Wellbeing Mentor or dropping into the Wellbeing office on the second floor.
