Student Notice December 16th

Festive Holiday Break

Our Last day is Wednesday 18th of December before half term. We hope you have a Fantastic time off, enjoy celebrating Christmas and New Years period in whichever way you do, and we will be looking forward to seeing you all when we return on January 6th!

Warming up the homeless Update

So I am sure you are aware we had our Christmas fair both in Ore Valley and in Hastings the last couple of weeks, all in aid of Warming up the homeless, and it was amazing to see all our students come together and take part in the activities put on, winning prizes in our raffle and tombola, buying cakes and festive items which both staff and students made, and generally having a jolly good time. Between both Hastings and Ore’s Christmas Fairs, we managed to raise £1060 total for Warming Up The Homeless!

A massive well done to our wellbeing team for putting on such a wonderful event which Ore Valley and Hastings hadn’t seen before!

Animal Magic

On the first week back, we will be having animal magic in to bring a bit of sparkle to the start of January. It will be on hosted on the ground floor corridor from 12pm to 2pm, expect to see all sorts of different animals, and a chance to get up close and learn a bit about them in your lunch break.

Lunch time Sports

On every Tuesday and Thursday at 12:15-1:15pm, we will be hosting casual sports for students to take part in. It will be on the MUGA and ran by Skiltek.
