Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

We shall also be taking some out of our days and lessons to remember. Below is the information for each service happening across East Sussex College.

  • Ore Valley Campus

  • Station Plaza Campus

    Our Hastings campus will be hosting a Remembrance Parade on Tuesday 12th November at 11AM. Classes will be encouraged to watch from their floors or watch from the Atrium our Public Services students paying their respects.

  • Lewes Campus

    The Remembrance Parade will take place here in Lewes on Mon 11th Nov at 10.45am. Students will be encouraged to come out to the car park at the front of the Cliffe Building to watch.

  • Eastbourne Campus

    On Monday 11th November, students are asked to gather in King’s Restaurant for 10.45am for a presentation on Remembrance Day and a respectful silence.
