Hastings Student Notices

This term, we have a lot planned, including Movember, where we’ll place a special emphasis on men’s mental health. We’ll also focus on Student Voice, White Ribbon, the Remembrance Parade, Disability Awareness Month, and Anti-Bullying Week. Through these events and activities, we aim to deepen your understanding of these important matters.

Below is this weeks notice & this weeks events.

Hastings is home to many individuals experiencing homelessness, and with the colder weather approaching, the need for support is more urgent than ever.

This Christmas, we are raising awareness about homelessness and supporting the charity Warming Up The Homeless, which operates in Hastings, Bexhill, and Eastbourne. Stay tuned for more information about what we’re doing at East Sussex College.

In the meantime, if you would like to help, you can see a list of items to the left you can donate that make a real difference. If you prefer to donate money, rest assured that your contribution will go a long way in providing much-needed support.

White Ribbon Day

White Ribbon Day is approaching. This important day encourages everyone to come together to help end violence against women and girls. The focus is on empowering men to hold themselves accountable to women—and to each other—to drive positive behavioral change and transform harmful cultures.
