I really hope you had a great half term where you were able to relax, have some well-deserved time off, and enjoyed the weather…when it was nice.

Degree Fair

The very first ESC Degree fair shall be taking place in The Atrium on the 6th November from 11AM till 2PM. This will be a fantastic chance to speak to Universities from across the UK and find out where you could study next. You can find out more by clicking here.

  • BIMM

  • University Campus of Football Business

  • University of Portsmouth

  • Leeds University

  • and more to be announced!


Student Voice Meeting

Thank you to everyone who turned up to our Student Voice Training session before Half Term. Please remember we have our first Student Voice Meeting on Wednesday 1st November in G018 (next to the refectory at Station Plaza) at 12:30PM.

We have ordered more pizza then we had last time, so everyone will get a slice.

Workshops & Opportunities

I am really excited that we are currently working on lots of projects and workshops with local organisations including:

  • The Electric Palace (Creative Film and Video Making)

  • Hastings Youth Common (Clubs and Societies including Dungeons and Dragons)

  • Xtrax (A Chance for Students to speak and be heard)

  • Holy Trinity Hastings (An Alpha Course on campus)

  • Womens Voice (A series of workshops on domestic violence and then producing a series of work)

  • OBX (A chance to create digital/vr/video games and your work to be displayed)

  • Climate Cafe (If you are interested in the environment and helping make steps at the college and wider community then this will be for you).

  • Performing Arts Workshops (This would include 1:1 support and the chance for you to perform a piece you have written in London)
