Every year East Sussex College, celebrate and promote Sustainability Week and this year is no different.

We want to promote and encourage sustainability by looking after our planet and that’s why we want to play our part. Whether that be planting new trees as part of our carbon neutralise initiative or whether that be putting solar panels on our Ore Valley campus. It might be putting Air Source Heat Pumps at our Station Plaza or Lewes Campuses. We have even started courses in green energy to help towards our planets future!

We even recently secured Salix grant funds from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) to deliver energy-saving projects. East Sussex College joins the likes of Sky with the aim of becoming carbon zero by 2030.

Sustainbility Week helps raise awareness not just of what we are currently doing, but how students and staff can even get involved.
