What is going well / Who needs praise?
We are near the end of our time at college and are looking forward to finishing.
Our SPT needs praise as she is great
We like our class and are making good progress. We have started to think about what universities to go to.
Our lecturers need praise as they have started sending event information to us to help us write personal statements etc.
We are enjoying our placement and thinks it helps with the things we learn in the classroom.
We like our timetable now as the drama with some of the other students has stopped.
What could we do better?
You Said: Organise the paperwork that we need for our observations clearly, so we know which ones to use and when.
We Will: Add sections and label work using titles that make more sense to you.
You Said: We would like to get to know our new teacher as quickly as possible, so it does not affect our exams etc.
We Will: Ensure that there is a good handover between teachers and opportunities for you to spend time with your new tutor, so she understands your needs.
You Said: Some students have managed to start placement but not all of us.
We Will: Support students to apply for their DBS and reach out to appropriate places for you to experience some of what you are learning in the classroom.

What is going well / Who needs praise?
The pace of lessons is balanced with lots of new content like placement performance outcomes.
Having separate groups for each occupational specialisms are helpful, because it means we can explore our subjects in more depth. It also means when we come together as a whole group, we can share alternative experiences.
Tutors are really caring. They see us as people not just students.
What could we do better?
You Said: Communication about the specifics of the course can be confusing and not all staff say the same thing.
We Have: Produced a handbook that details about the course such as placement hours, when assessments will take place, absence lines etc.
You Said: It would be nice to be able to give feedback to assessors 1-2-1 about our placement experience. Although we do this as a group there are some things that may be more personal, and we would not like these to be shared.
We Have: Provided drop-in sessions with placement assessors so that these confidential conversations can take place.
