Artful Tribute

Our Community Provision students took the time to install their carefully curated Poppy Art project. An upcycling project using plastic bottles to create beautifully handcrafted individual poppies.

Please take the time to have a look, the installation can be found at the front of Lewes campus on the grass area outside the entrance to college, next to the Jubilee trees.

Embracing the principles of sustainability, the project is centred around upcycled art, breathing new life into discarded materials. The installation not only pays homage to the sacrifices of the past but also underscores the importance of environmental responsibility.

“Witnessing the creativity and dedication of our students in crafting this upcycled poppy art project has been truly inspiring. Their artistic flair not only contributes to a beautiful tribute for Remembrance Day but also exemplify the inclusive and empowering spirit of our college community." - Sue Golding, Lecturer, Community & Engagement.
