Can you believe we are already in March?

This week we have National Careers Week with opportunities to talk to employers on both Tuesday and Thursday.

We also have our International Women’s Day event. Thank you to those who have pre-booked.

There is no Film society this week but next week they will be showing Leon: The Professional.


INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Our free 2-course lunch in King’s Restaurant will be happening on Friday 8th March for International Women’s Day.

Thank you to those who have signed-up to take part, and I hope you are looking forward to some delicious food.

Further information about the lunch will be sent to those who have signed up shortly.

Please note: This event is only available to those who signed up prior to Monday 26th February using the Microsoft Form.


STUDENT COUNCIL #2

Thank you to those who attended the Student Council Meeting on Thursday last week.

Your feedback is being collated and will be either actioned by our Student Council Action Group, or sent to relevant staff members.

For those who were unable to attend, please do not worry. I will be sending out information on what was discussed, and asking for your feedback also.


END OF YEAR EVENT

Planning for the End of Year event has begun, and we are forming a student committee to help shape the event.

If you would like to join the committee, please sign up with the form.

The Sports Hall in the Sports Park

9am to 3pm

Thank you to those who proposed clubs and societies. Over the next few weeks we will try to get some of these running. In the mean time, don’t forget these are available on campus throughout the week also. Definitely worth dropping in!
