Living Library Event

A Living Library is full of information and stories, like a normal library.

The difference is that, instead of borrowing a book, you can “borrow a human” to hear from them directly.

It’s a chance to learn about another person’s experience of the world or find out about their special interests. It is a chance to talk to someone you wouldn’t normally meet. Maybe it will even change your perception of them.

Visit the Living Library between 9.30 and 10.30am on 19th March in the Lewes Library.

Take a look at what each “human book” is offering to talk about. Pick someone to listen to. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

Take a seat with your human book and chat with them for about 5 minutes. You can ask them some questions, or just let them share information about what they love.
