World Mental Health Day
This Thursday, October 10TH, we’ll be celebrating World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow for Hello Yellow.
“Wear it loud. Wear it proud. This World Mental Health Day, wear yellow and donate to Young Minds. Less than 1 in 3 young people are receiving the support they need for their mental health. This needs to change. With your support, it can.”
Not only will we be wearing yellow … On Wednesday, October 9TH, we have organised a variety of organisations to join us from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. You won’t want to miss this, as they’ll be joined by some fluffy animals—come de-stress with our furry friends while getting to know these organisations!
Date: 09/10/2024
Time: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Where: The Atrium
We can’t wait to see you there!
Black History Month
In celebration of Black History Month, we have a variety of events and activities happening around the college. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon! In the meantime, have you checked out the library's book display?
The college library is proud to celebrate Black History Month every October! This year’s theme is “Reclaiming Narratives.” Be sure to check out our special book display featuring incredible works by Black authors, showcasing amazing stories, talented artists, and rich histories that will broaden your perspective.
We also have a selection of TV programs and films about Black history available. Simply click the link below and sign in with your college details to explore.
Libraries Week
We Love Libraries Week!
Join us on the 2nd floor at Station Plaza to see what we have planned starting Monday, October 7th. This year, we’re going green and focusing on how we can all help reduce waste in the library.
Get involved with our Community Collage Tree, where you can repurpose old magazine pages. We’d love to see as many people as possible contribute a piece to this collaborative artwork!
