Hastings Student Notices
I hope you’ve all had a restful week off! For our newbies, I hope you’re starting to feel at home here at East Sussex College. This term, we have a lot planned, including Movember, where we’ll place a special emphasis on men’s mental health. We’ll also focus on Student Voice, White Ribbon, the Remembrance Parade, Disability Awareness Month, and Anti-Bullying Week. Through these events and activities, we aim to deepen your understanding of these important matters.
Below is this weeks notice & this weeks events.
Written by Paige-Marie Baker-Carroll, the new Student Experience Coordinator at Station Plaza.
Remembrance Parade
Remembrance day is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
We remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.
We shall also be taking some out of our days and lessons to remember.
Station Plaza Campus
Our Hastings campus will be hosting a Remembrance Parade on Tuesday 12th November at 11AM. Classes will be encouraged to watch from their floors or watch from the Atrium our Public Services students paying their respects.
