Hastings Student Notices
This term, we have a lot planned, including Movember, where we’ll place a special emphasis on men’s mental health. We’ll also focus on Student Voice, White Ribbon, the Remembrance Parade, Disability Awareness Month, and Anti-Bullying Week. Through these events and activities, we aim to deepen your understanding of these important matters.
Below is this weeks notice & this weeks events.

MOVEMBER
This month, we’re celebrating Movember with a focus on men’s mental health. During Movember, participants sign up to grow a moustache for 30 days, encouraging friends, family, and colleagues to donate in support of their efforts. But it’s not just about the moustache! Men, women, and non-binary individuals can also get involved by committing to Move — walking or running 60 km over the month — or by hosting an event to raise awareness and bring people together to change the face of men’s health.
If you’re growing a moustache, there’s a prize to be won! Just send us a before-and-after photo to enter the competition. paige.baker-carroll@escg.ac.uk
If you're taking part in another way to raise awareness, we'd love to hear from you too!
On the 19th, we’ll be hosting a special event in the Atrium. We’ll be fundraising, inviting local organisations, and offering fun activities to celebrate and support men’s health.
Your mental health is important to us. If you're struggling, please don't hesitate to reach out to a member of staff. We are here to support you, and we're always ready to help.
