Can you believe we are officially in December!? We still have a few events happening before the end of 2023, so see below for what is on offer!

Disability History Month
We are kicking off Disability History Month with a series of workshops on the 6th December.
10:30am – 11:30am Assistive Software tools - demonstration; Book here
2:00pm – 3:00pm Deaf Awareness; Book here
3:00pm – 3:30pm British Sign Language (BSL) workshop; Book here
3:45pm – 4:15pm British Sign Language (BSL) workshop; Book here
We shall be holding a Disability Awareness Event on the 7th December in The Atrium at 10:30am with vendors including Amaze Sussex and Brighton Speak Out.
Our Supported Education annual Winter Show shall be returning on Wednesday 13th December in The Atrium with performances happening at 11:00am and 2:30pm.
Throughout the month of December, our Libraries team shall have a selection of books and resources for students to look at to understand disabilities and help support those with disabilities.

East Sussex College Hastings, Public Services students shall be hosting and information and guidance event in The Atrium on Wednesday 6th December at 10:30am.

Christmas Jumper Day
Christmas Jumper Day will take place on Thursday 7 December 2023. But you can celebrate on whatever day works for you!
It's time to put on your Christmas jumper and help kids in the UK and around the world get the best future ever.
Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's annual event which raises money for the children who need it most. Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive knit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve.
Christmas Jumper Day has raised over £35 million for children in the UK and around the world since it began in 2012!
Christmas Food Market
Join us as we help raise money and support Doms Food Mission on Wednesday 13th December for our Christmas Food Market taking place in G002 from 10:00am to 1:00pm. There will be hot and cold food from the UK, America, France, Italy, Belgium and Spain.
