FILM SOCIETY
There will be no Film Society this week at King’s Restaurant. However, next week it will be back on with the film ‘Train to Busan’.
‘Train to Busan’ (2016) is a South Korean action horror film. A father and his estranged daughter are on a train from Seoul to Busan, when a zombie apocalypse breaks out across the country which seems to have no cure or cause.

SHAPE YOUR SPACE
East Sussex County Council wants to consult young people aged 14-18 on how they use East Sussex Libraries. This will help them improve the services they offer to young people, particularly around using libraries to study.
They’re asking what library services you already use, what services you want to use in future and what you feel will improve your library experience.
The deadline to respond is: Sunday 18 February 2024.
If you would like to take part please follow this link: Shape Your Space - Young People's Library Consultation - East Sussex
GUEST SPEAKER
Ever wondered how relations between different countries are played out on the International Space Station?
Dr Sarah Lieberman from Canterbury Christ Church University will be running a workshop about this on Friday afternoon.
Where?: TH318/320
When?: 1.15 to 3.30 this Friday, 12th January
What’s it all about?: The session will look at political and international relations issues, using outer space as a case study for geopolitical relationships. Cooperation on the International Space Station will take centre-stage, allowing students to understand how issues are inter-related, and how earth based politics can impact on outer-space initiatives.
If you are interested in this topic, please come along on Friday afternoon.
